At MB&F we turn traditional watchmaking of the highest craftsmanship into futuristic, fiercely unconventional timekeeping machines. These sculptured, three-dimensional cases and beautifully-finished engines are called ‘Machines’.
Central to the creative process, at MB&F we believe that “A creative adult is a child who survived” – recognising the universal imagination of children, before they are formatted into their rational, reasonable adult lives. That powerful imagination is the creative spark which continues to trigger our emotionally-charged Machines today.
Discover MB&FThe MB&F M.A.D.Gallery is a ground-breaking concept that is 50% watch boutique, 50% art gallery – and 100% dedicated to the world of mechanical and kinetic art.
The M.A.D.Gallery is thrilled to present URBIS, a collection of six abstract cityscape sculptures by James McNabb. The American artist’s stunning artworks reveals complex architectural structures, from towering skyscrapers and office buildings to high-rise apartment buildings. Behind these intricate skyline-inspired sculptures is a tremendous amount of time and talent. Each towering wooden skyscraper is skilfully carved out with a bandsaw and then carefully assembled piece by piece to create impressive urban landscapes.
